Dulwich College (Singapore) students meet Prince Charles

Twelve Senior School Student Council members from Dulwich College (Singapore) had the privilege of meeting Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall at a private Remembrance Day ceremony in early November at the Cenotaph, where Prince Charles laid a wreath in memory of fallen soldiers.

Every year, Dulwich College (Singapore) holds three Remembrance Day ceremonies, involving every student from Year 2 upwards and over 400 parents. The College also welcomed parents, ex-servicemen, veterans, current members of the armed forces and the public at a service on the 11th of November at the Kranji War Memorial in honour of the heroes of the First World War.

Dulwich College International schools attach great importance to Remembrance Day, planning ceremonies and activities to help students understand the history of the 20th century, appreciate its consequences, and contextualise it to the modern day.
