Julia Song
Assistant Teacher
Julia Song has been at Dulwich College Beijing since 2013. She is passionate about learning and ensuring that every student has a voice and participates fully in lessons. Starting out in DUCKS, she built a strong understanding of the Early Years curriculum and developed her skills in teaching phonics and supporting the initial school-based learning experiences of Dulwich students. In 2021, she moved to Junior School to develop her skills and understanding of the English Curriculum, and has enjoyed seeing how quickly the students advance in their learning and grow as independent learners. In addition to her role in Junior School, she supports tennis lessons for Senior School students. She is also a swimming coach and is qualified to support students with ADHD. Julia studied International Chinese Teaching at Beijing Language and Culture University and is currently completing a Masters degree in the same subject at Beijing Foreign Studies University. She loves traveling, reading and hiking.
