2026 IB Results: Onwards to Top Global Universities
Dulwich College Beijing is proud to celebrate the achievements of our Class of 2026, who have received their International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results following two years of rigorous academic study, personal growth and dedicated pastoral care.
The 2026 cohort achieved an average score of 37.2 points, with 34% of students achieving 40 points or above. Among the highest individual results, 1 student achieved 45 points, five students achieved 44 points, while a further five students achieved 43 points, demonstrating the breadth and depth of academic excellence across the cohort.
These results reflect the dedication, resilience and intellectual curiosity of our students, alongside the commitment of their teachers, families and the wider DCB community. Throughout their IB journey, our students have embraced challenges, pursued their passions and continued to grow both academically and personally.
Yet academic results form only one chapter of each student’s unique Dulwich journey.
Beyond the numbers are the friendships formed, passions discovered, challenges overcome and contributions made to our community. These experiences have helped shape who our students are and who they will become.
As members of the Class of 2026 begin the next chapter of their journeys at universities around the world, we are proud to celebrate what they have achieved and the many different pathways they are pursuing now.
Mike C, going to King's College London for Medicine
I don't see my choice to study medicine as a rejection of my passions in art, languages, sports, literature and music. Medicine is the art of healing. To me, it's an intimidating yet beautiful blend of language, science and compassion...10 years at Dulwich showed me that I'm not merely fascinated with a particular field. I've fallen in love with lifelong learning. Service and DCB's extensive work experience opportunities showed me the clinical side of the science-human connection and the importance of teaching and education.

You can sit in the theatre and you can watch the same show and you can be moved by the same story and feel the same emotions with someone who may have different beliefs than you… and I think that is the sort of uniting experience that we need as a society.

Start researching courses early. Look at the cities, the campuses and everything each university offers. And always reach out to your counsellor. They've guided hundreds of students through the application process. They have so much valuable advice.

As someone who is multifaceted, I was the kind of person who spent all my lunch time and after schools joining different clubs, exploring different subjects that I was interested in. DCB has a very nurturing environment with so many academic and extracurricular opportunities. It really helps you to find who you are.

Something very special about DCB is that, it is common for students here to think they want to make an impact in the world. The sense of mission allows us to dream big, and drives us to constantly achieve. And I take that into my own creations, does my work, my novel, have a positive impact on those who read them? What values do I convey? That part of DCB will be with me for a very long time.
