Congratulations to our GCSE Y10 students this year on their stunning drawings. Our GCSE Coursework this year is based on the theme of ‘Roots’.
Students will follow this theme for a whole year moving through a variety of media and approaches. For their Drawing Unit, students had to interpret the theme in a personal way, collect first hand sources, study other artists, practice with a variety of materials, and generate original imagery for their final compositions. A lot of research has informed these amazing creations, and we look forward to the painting unit around the corner!
Teachers of GCSE this year are Mr Kim Ong, Ms Anna Ozemoya and (me) Ms Yvette Stride.
