Junior School Rock n’ Roll with Times Tables
Students thoroughly enjoyed our TT Rockstars Launch event, DCB JS Rocks!
We kicked off with a bang, following a fantastic performance from Senior School band, Overdose. Students looked fabulous in their fancy dress, throwing us headfirst into the Rock ‘n Roll era!
We watched superstar teachers go head-to-head in Rock Slam challenges. We sang, we danced, and we rocked out! Times tables challenges took place throughout the day, with the sound of Heavy Metal and Rock anthems filling the Junior School.
Times Tables Rock Stars is a carefully sequenced program of daily times tables practice. This format has very successfully boosted times tables recall speed for hundreds of thousands of pupils over the last 8 years in over 16,000 schools - both Primary and Secondary - worldwide.
Mrs Gurdon, Head of Junior School, was reported to say that the event was an amazing kick-off to our TT Rockstars journey. It’s safe to say, DCB Junior School ROCKS!
