Sports Day is back at DCB Junior School!
Our whole Junior School students left their classroom for one day last week to enjoy their traditional Sports Day under the blossoming spring sunshine. It was indeed energising to watch everyone actively and happily engaged in the various competitive and non-competitive events throughout the day.
Ms Jacinth Gurdon, Head of Junior School, emphasised that “Events like this plays an essential part of school life as they provide students with the opportunities to be involved in learning and developing outside of the classroom. The House System has a central focus in our school, and Sports Day is a fantastic way for the students to come together to support, motivate and celebrate their achievements as a House.”
