DCB Has Been Nominated for International School Award
Dulwich College Beijing is proud to be shortlisted for the Tes Awards for International Schools 2024! This recognition celebrates some of the most outstanding schools and teachers the global education community has to offer, spotlighting their innovative and exceptional educational practices.
The shortlisted finalists include teachers and schools nominated across 36 countries and were selected by a panel of expert judges including school leaders, experts, and education researchers. After rigorous judgement from a strict set of criteria, Dulwich College Beijing’s Planet Hack initiative has been shortlisted for the Community Engagement Initiative of the Year award.
Anthony Coles, our Head of College, proudly highlighted the significance of this recognition.
Planet Hack supports our mission of ‘Live Worldwise’ and our desire for students to make a difference to the planet. Using a myriad of skills, students solve real-world problems with support from professors at The Australian National University. I couldn’t be prouder of the students for taking on these challenges. My thanks to Yosef Karasik for his leadership of this programme.
The awards have been supported by leading international school associations, including BSME (British Schools in the Middle East), COBIS, (Council of British International Schools), ECIS (The Education Collaborative for International Schools), FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia), and the IB (International Baccalaureate), a global leader in international education.
We are truly honoured to be shortlisted for this award, a testament to the College’s unwavering commitment to fostering not only academic excellence but also a growing community employing real-world problem-solving fueled by a strong sense of social responsibility. We look forward to seeing the results on 25 April 2024.
