Toddler Provision at DUCKS

Beginning in the 2026–27 academic year, Dulwich College Beijing will introduce a Toddler provision at DUCKS for children aged 2–3, extending the College’s well-established early years experience to younger learners.

Designed with the developmental needs of young children in mind, the programme aims to support our youngest learners in developing confidence, curiosity, responsibility, and a sense of belonging from the very beginning of their school experience.

Joyful, engaging and play-based learning will remain central to the experience for which DCB DUCKS is well known. The Toddler provision will provide a tailored programme of care routines and learning experiences thoughtfully designed to support the developmental needs of our youngest learners. Beginning their school experience in such a nurturing environment allows children to become comfortable with school routines and relationships at a gentle pace, supporting a smooth transition into the wider DUCKS experience.

The inclusion of Toddlers in DUCKS will further enrich and enhance the holistic development of all DCB students, particularly in areas such as empathy, language, and leadership. Starting at age two will allow our students to establish firm foundations for lifelong learning from this pivotal stage.
