Teacher of Economics
Christopher Gayle achieved a B.Ed. Degree (Hons) in Business Education, at the University of Technology, Jamaica after first completing a Teaching Diploma in Business Education at the same university. He taught Business Studies and Accounting in Jamaica for three years, then migrated to the UK, where he achieved his UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and taught there for over 12 years. He was the Key Stage 4 Business Studies Coordinator at The Billericay School, one of Essex’s leading secondary schools and sixth form colleges; during his time there, he taught Business Studies and Economics. Chris has moved to Beijing with his wife, Cecilia, and son, Othniel. They are looking forward to immerse themselves in the Chinese culture, as Chris likes travelling and meeting people with different cultural experiences.
