Christopher Walker

Year 5 Teacher

In 2006 Christopher completed his undergraduate studies at Edinburgh University in Politics, Economic and Social History. After working in the civil service for a few years, he switched careers and completed his PGCE at the London Institute of Education in 2011 and since then taught in a south London comprehensive school for six years in years 3, 5, and 6. During this time, Christopher was curriculum lead for the humanities and during his last year at the school was phase leader for lower KS2.

In 2017 Christopher moved to New Delhi, India, with his family, where he taught at the American Embassy School. He since moved to Beijing in the autumn of 2020 and joined the Junior School team the year after.  In his spare time, he enjoys keeping fit and is usually found riding his road bike at the weekends and exploring Beijing.
