Vision & Values

Our guiding statements provide Dulwich College Beijing with the compass in which to base our decision-making and to ensure we remain focused on our students and the broader DCB community. The Mission, Vision, and Values underpin our policies and approaches and also form the parameters of our College Development Plan.

Our guiding statements include not only our mission, vision & values but also includes our commitment to global citizenship and internationalism.

Every year a reflective process takes place to decide on the next set of strategic priorities for the upcoming academic year. During the process, we review various data points from all the departments across the College, look at the DCB community feedback from the annual EiM Experience annual survey, and refer to the Dulwich College International Strategic priorities.

DCB’s College Development Plan for the academic year of 2026-27 is based around three categories: An inspiring educational journey for every student; Outstanding teaching and learning which amplifies student aspiration and human individuality; and Bridging the World: deep community engagement, cultural literacy and global vision.
