Amy is from Kingston Upon Hull in the North of England. She graduated with a degree in Childhood in Early Years Education from Leeds Metropolitan University and then gained a teaching qualification from the University of Hull. She’s been teaching in the UK and overseas for eight years before coming to Dulwich College Beijing. As well as working overseas, she has travelled extensively and loves the outdoor life, embracing all types of weather conditions by going on walks and hikes. Amy sees one of her teaching areas of expertise as phonics but is also well-versed in Inquiry-Based Learning after working in a PYP School. Amy has also wanted to live in China since she was a young girl, so now she is living a childhood dream!
