Senior School Teacher of Business and Economics
Mr Kallend is from Manchester in the UK, where he attended the University of Manchester, completing his master's degree in Business and Information Technology. After graduating, Mr Kallend entered the hospitality industry working in Manchester's largest events hotel, working his way up to Head of Department before heading out East. It was here in Beijing that he developed a love of teaching and China through working as a business skills coach with Microsoft, Lenovo, and the Ministry of Commerce, developing this into a permanent career change into teaching by completing his PGCE. He has been teaching for over a decade now in Beijing and is currently with our Business and Economics department. He is also a keen cyclist and an avid motorsport fan.
