An IB Visual Arts Journey
Joseph Stewart – Head of Key Stage Three and Teacher of Art
We are delighted to present an online exhibition of our talented Year 13 Visual Arts students.
Exceptional creativity can be seen in the self-directed artistic exploration of students. Diverse concepts are conveyed through a range of traditional and contemporary art media. These include examining consumerism, critiquing our dependence on technology, and empathizing with current global issues.
The IB Visual Arts course is a challenging one that pushes students out of their comfort zone. Our learners are required to make a coherent body of work in two-dimensional, three-dimensional and digital media. This years' exhibition is particularly interesting as subtle links can be seen to the challenges of the last fifteen months.
We are very proud of the achievements of our students and wish them the very best in their future education!
