DCB Is Ready for the New Academic Year! See What’s New On Campus
As the start of a new academic year approaches, we at Dulwich College Beijing are looking forward to welcoming our community back on campus!
From exchanging first hello’s with our new community members and revitalising our spaces to planning for a new academic year, here are some of the amazing things that took place over the summer break.
See you all on campus, everyone!
Welcome, new teachers and staff!
Our new teachers and staff from various backgrounds join us from around the world, eager to meet the rest of our community.
Over the summer, we had several enhancements, including:
More classrooms to accommodate our growing community!
Junior School Lunch Space Gets a Makeover!
Lunch will be more colourful and exciting for our Year 2 and Junior School students, with double the meal choices, a fun and sustainable waste disposal system, proudly displayed House logos, and enhanced seating options.
The Junior School 'Lakeside' cafeteria is the culminating element of our Community Spaces project, following the SS cafeterias, the new Buzz Café, The Hive space in SS, Coffee and Books for parents, and Legends Café.
New IB Visual Arts Studio
Our talented young artists now have a new dedicated studio to work in, where their creations will be on display for all to admire.
Revamped West Car Park
Our upgraded arrival area now offers greater convenience for student drop-offs and pickups.
More electric buses to sustainably ferry our students
40% of our fleet are now electric!
Teachers are back at school
Last week, teachers returned to school, kicking off the Teacher Planning Week.
Welcome back to school!
