Elnè Engela Ackermann
Senior School Teacher of drama
Ms Ackermann is from South Africa and attended the University of Pretoria, where she obtained her BA in Drama and PGCE. She worked as a secondary school drama teacher for four years in South Africa and then furthered her studies by completing Honour’s degree in Education and then recently, a Master’s degree in Curriculum Design and Development at the University of Pretoria. Ms Ackermann has been living and teaching drama in Beijing for four years and has a passion for developing a curriculum that integrates eastern and western teaching approaches within a performing arts context. When she isn’t in the classroom, she enjoys photography, reading, exploring and traveling, trying new food, and learning about other cultures.
