Let’s talk about Global Goals at Dulwich College Beijing!
Lots of excitement around the campus on Monday with students walking back in for lessons!
Everyone discovered the Global Goals statement wall created by the Dulwich College Beijing Sustainability leads, a live communication space for the whole college to showcase news, student actions, links to resources… related to the different global goals.
Andrew Walton, Senior School Sustainability lead, shares that “the goal of this wall is to connect our community of students, parents and teachers, and decentralise our student-led Global Goals Club. This way, our true collective efforts will result from the whole community doing 10% more rather than relying solely upon the club members. We need everybody to contribute a little bit in each of the fields, starting with the things they are already passionate about.”
Our DCB definition of global citizenship underpins our mission to Live Worldwise.
Connect / Care / Act
We are on a journey to connect with, care about, and act for people and our world.
It reflects our commitment to educate our students as the next generation of global citizens and enable them to make a positive difference to people, society and the planet. As such, we hope our students will embrace intercultural learning, both inside and beyond the classroom and this new addition will remind us to stay focussed on our mission.
Let's find even more ways to bring our Global Citizenship statement to life!
