James Latham
Year 6 Lead
James Latham is from Norfolk, England. After completing his undergraduate studies (BSc Hons) in Liverpool, James trained as an English as Second Language teacher, travelled across Asia and taught in Taiwan for three years. He returned to the UK and gained an MSc from the University of Liverpool and completed a PGCE in Primary Education. Following this, he taught in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 6 in England and then took up a post at an international school in Qatar. Teaching in Qatar for eight years, he held the roles of Class Teacher, Year Leader, Key Stage 2 Leader and then Deputy Head, becoming part of the schools'senior management team. Mr Latham joined DCB in 2020, along with his wife and two children. Mr Latham enjoys playing the drums, watching live music, hiking, reading, going to the movies and when he can, sailing and scuba diving.
