Jo is originally from West Yorkshire, UK. After completing her BSc (Hons) Psychology and PGCE, she worked as a lead teacher of psychology and social sciences in the UK, where she gained post-graduate qualifications in innovation in education. Jo moved to China in 2014 to take up the position of Head of Psychology at another international school in Beijing, where she stayed for five years. After a further two years as Director of Studies in a research consultancy and training centre, where she completed a Professional Development Qualification in Educational Leadership, she joins the team at Dulwich College Beijing. With a keen interest in research, Jo is currently completing an MA in Anthrozoology to amalgamate psychology and education with her other passion: animals.
