Sharon Shi

Sharon completed her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cambridge. She then went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Bedfordshire, specialising in secondary mathematics education. As of summer 2020, Sharon is in the final stages of completing a master’s in Educational and Social Research (MRes) with the Institute of Education, University College London. Sharon taught in Bedfordshire, UK, before moving to Beijing in 2009 where she taught in two schools before breaking to complete 18 months of full-time Mandarin study at Tsinghua University. She then returned to the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China International Curriculum Centre, where she was Head of Faculty for Mathematics and Computer Science. Sharon joins DCB with her husband and twins.
