Andrew Carey
Senior School Teacher of History and Humanities
Mr Carey is originally from Guernsey in the Channel Islands. He studied Ancient History at Cardiff University, followed by an MA in Modern History at UCL. He first lived in China in 2010 before returning to the UK to complete a PGCE at Sussex University. He has taught in East Sussex, an independent school in Guernsey, and recently at another international school in Beijing, where he was Head of History. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, exploring China’s History, skiing, and spending time with his family.
