Bob Stanley
Senior School Head of Chemistry
Bob Stanley graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Chemistry at the Faculty of Science and Nursing valedictorian from the Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. He went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Analytical Chemistry and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He also has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education International (PGCEI) from the University of Nottingham and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Study (MES) from the University of Alberta.
Mr Stanley has been teaching chemistry for the past ten years to high school learners in China and undergraduate students as well as pre-medical school candidates taking the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) in Canada. He has seven years of high school chemistry teaching experience for the International General Certificate of Education (IGCSE), Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and Advanced Level (AL), Advanced Placement (AP) as well as the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) syllabi. Many of his high school learners have gone on to prestigious universities such as the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and the Imperial College London.
