Damian Lee
Year 4 Teacher
A keen proponent of lifelong learning, Damian Lee graduated with a first-class degree in Politics before completing a Master's degree in International Political Studies at Newcastle University, UK. After campaigning for a North East Regional Assembly, he worked as speechwriter and research for a Member of the European Parliament before moving into the same role for a UK Member of Parliament. He then entered the private sector to manage Government Relations for a multinational energy efficiency company. Having decided to apply his skills in a more fulfilling area, he moved into teaching with a PGCE in Primary Education at Northumbria University, UK. Following three years of teaching in the UK, where he worked on the introduction of the new National Curriculum in a number of schools, He then moved to Brunei, serving for four years as Head of Year 4. Mr Lee is an avid reader who enjoys cycling, dog walking and visiting new places. He has been with DCB since 2019.
