Emily Laws
DUCKS EAL coordinator
Emily Laws completed her undergraduate in French and German at the University of Exeter, UK. She obtained a PGCE in Primary Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK and spent several years teaching at primary schools in Kent, UK. Having worked at DCB since 2012, Emily has been a Junior School teacher and Year Leader. She is currently the DUCKS EAL coordinator. She is passionate about languages and helping our youngest students to communicate. Emily is studying for her Masters in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, exercising, reading and visiting galleries and museums in Beijing. She has enjoyed travelling to over 40 places in China.
