Roger Hawke
Senior School Head of Geography
Roger is inspired to help his students to think geographically, to investigate different places and the processes at work in them. He finds it exciting to teach about power relations concerning places and possibilities for positive outcomes to local and global issues. Roger holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public policy) and a Master of Education from the Flinders University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. He started teaching at DCB in 2018 and is continually impressed by the ‘try your best’ and service-oriented culture present within the student body. Outside of school, Roger spends his time chasing his beautiful daughters around while squeezing in time to watch his beloved Adelaide Crows play Australian Rules football.
