The Big Sing: DUCKS schools collectively sing “One and a Million”
We are incredibly proud to share our inaugural cross-DUCKS project, The Big Sing!
The Big Sing is a first-of-its-kind joint project between multiple DUCKS schools across the Education in Motion (EiM) group, showcasing the incredible talents of our young singers in a memorable rendition of the song "One and a Million."
The event is the first time DUCKS children have had the opportunity to participate in such a cross-school event, offering our students a unique chance to create something with their peers from other schools within the EIM group. The excitement of seeing themselves performing alongside students from our partner schools in Suzhou, Puxi, Pudong, Seoul, and Singapore ignited a sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and shared achievement amongst our collective schools’ youngest.
The Big Sing Countdown leading to the event got students excited, with members of our staff and the College Leadership Team getting in on the fun.
Emma Kiely, DCB DUCKS Assistant Head and the activity coordinator shared how proud she is of our young students and this achievement. "This is the first event where DUCKS children have been able to collaborate across the DCI group and it was a wonderful way to bring us together. We hope that this will just be the start and as a group, we can plan more opportunities for us to work together as a DUCKS community."
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making The Big Sing a resounding success. Together, our Dulwich College International community celebrates a milestone in our collective journey, united in song and spirit across borders and communities.
