Taking an extended weekend off from 20 to 22 October, 8 DCB students participated in Hack Dulwich (HakD), a hackathon hosted by Dulwich College Shanghai. Hackathons are events where people, passionate about technology and computer programming, get together, often for short periods of time, to brainstorm and work on creating a product for the entirety of the event's duration. This year's theme was 'making life easier.'

Special mention goes to Matthew C and Alessandro V (both Year 13s), who with Owen H and Robin Z of SUIS built GlassDrive and won first place at the hackathon, and Jun C (Year 13) and Shenyi C (Year 12), who won second place with their PaperClip app.
