Senior School Teacher of Art
After completing her BA (Hons) ‘Community Art’, Ms Ozemoya relocated home to South Wales and worked as a community artist and youth worker. Many of the young people she worked with lived in deprived areas and had life challenges that they had to deal with. Being passionate about the arts as a vehicle for empowerment and change, she saw first-hand the positive impact that the community-based projects had on these young people. She completed her secondary art PGCE teacher training at Cardiff Met University. Together with her husband who is a Mathematics teacher and two daughters, they embarked on the international teaching journey in 2014. They spent four years at an international school in Kampala, East Africa, before relocating to Guangzhou, China where they spent four years at an international school there.
