Kathryn Watts

Kathryn Watts is proud to have been working in Education for 23 years. Originally from the UK, Mrs Watts first majored in Graphic Design gaining a BA(Hons) before graduating from the University of Exter with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education for 5–12-year-olds. In addition, whilst working, she also earned her Master’s in Education from the Open University. She started her teaching career at Forest School in East London before moving abroad to Sakhalin Island, Russia to work for Royal Shell as a teacher. Subsequently, Mrs Watts worked in a British International School in Qatar before embarking on the challenge of helping to found DCB’s sister school, Dehong Shanghai for six years, before official joining DCB.
Mrs Watts enjoys reading a good book, travelling, and experiencing new cultures. She is joined in Beijing by her husband and her son.
