Head of Senior School

Clare Anderson-Au has been the Head of Middle School in the Tanglin Trust School of Singapore, a school with about 1,400 students. She had been in this position since 2013 and overseeing a wide range of responsibilities, including the day-to-day running of the school, student progress, positive education, student and staff wellbeing policies. She was also the Chair of the Pastoral Committee and the Designated Safeguard Lead. Prior to this, Ms Anderson-Au had been the Head of Family (Acting VP) in the South Island School in Hong Kong.   

 Ms Anderson-Au has taken various leadership positions in her over twenty years of teaching, which includes teaching IB Psychology and Theory of Knowledge. She received her Ba Hons (QTS) Physical Education and Business Studies 2:1 from Brighton University. She also obtained many professional training courses and certifications, including professional development, Assessment Essentials, Advanced Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment, Mental Health First Aid, Positive Education, and Applied Suicide Intervention.   

Ms Anderson-Au comes from the UK. In her spare time, she likes dragon boating, hiking, and reading.
