Fredleen Birch

Ms Birch graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a B.A. (Languages) and PGHED. Before embarking on a teaching career abroad, she spent seven years teaching English in Senior School in South Africa, as well as lecturing Speech and Drama, and Education at a Teacher’s Training Institute. She started her international teaching career in Saudi Arabia as Head of Foundation Stage. After two and half years, she taught in England for a short spell. She then moved to Qatar with her family where she developed most of her experience in Early Years. After Qatar, she moved to China and taught at Dulwich College Beijing for 5 years. Thereafter, she taught in Thailand and is now looking forward to returning to DCB. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking, travelling, singing, and reading.
