George Ozemoya
Senior School Teacher of Mathematics
Mr Ozemoya graduated with a BSc (hons) degree in chemical engineering and a post-graduate diploma in computing from London Metropolitan University. In 2005, he relocated from London to Birmingham and completed the school-based teacher training programme to become a mathematics teacher. His teaching experience in the UK spans three secondary schools in nine years, with six of those years as the Key Stage 4 Mathematics Coordinator. His first international teaching experience was as head of mathematics at an international school in Kampala Uganda for four years. Thereafter, he arrived in Guangzhou China in August 2018, to join a well-known international school as a teacher of mathematics and more recently as the Head of Year. His passion for teaching mathematics is driven by the transformations and possibilities from impacting young people to developing a love of learning and growing in confidence and tenacity through mathematics.
