Kimberley Oliver
Learning Support Lead
Kimberley Oliver joined DCB in August 2024, after having spent years living on different continents, working in various cities in Nigeria, China, UK, Australia, Greece, New Zealand, Uganda and most recently, France.
With degrees and qualifications in Psychology, Autism, Special Educational Needs and Life Coaching, she is passionate about individualized and bespoke learning programs that enable children and young adults to develop their character and skills in the best ways available to them. One of her proudest professional achievements came from her work within a school for students with severe learning disability and challenging behaviour; alongside with three other Lead Teachers they designed and implemented a skills-based lifelong curriculum, that centred on these values.
Most recently she has completed her Masters in Inclusive Education, drawing on the issues of corruption, teacher training standards and religious and cultural effects upon the impact of education and specifically the area of Neurodiversity. She has trained new teachers on Inclusion, as well as giving many parent workshops and support systems, and feels strongly about the impact of the wider networks around a young person.
In her spare time, she enjoys many forms of exercise including aerial yoga, TRX, dance and running, as well as engaging with the arts through music, theatre and literature.
