Celebrating 2024–25 at Dulwich College Beijing
As the 2024–25 academic year comes to a close, Dulwich College Beijing organised its last Parent Connect session on 10 June, where Head of College Anthony Coles and three Heads of School proudly reflected on a year marked by exceptional growth, achievements and celebrations, and community spirit.
True to our commitment to a world-class holistic education, we continue to offer an experience that inspires personal growth across five educational pillars: Academics, Global Citizenship, Learning Beyond the Classroom, The Arts, and Sport.
Academic Excellence: Nurturing Minds and Futures
At every stage of learning, our students continue to thrive under a curriculum designed to inspire critical thinking, creativity, and confidence.
At DUCKS and the Junior School, teachers use engaging learning approaches to help children understand concepts deeply and think creatively. Students also improve their writing and storytelling skills through fun and structured learning methods. In Senior School, teaching strategies that combine subject learning with language support are helping multilingual students thrive. Looking ahead, the introduction of the A-Level programme in August 2025 will give students more choices and the chance to focus on subjects they are passionate about.
Our graduates this year have been receiving outstanding offers from top universities and courses around the world. With 44 offers from QS Top 30 universities, our graduates continue to excel on the global stage.

Global Citizenship: Leading with Compassion
Students are actively engaged with local community service programmes like Dreamcatchers, the Giving Circle, Dew Drops, Hong Dan Dan, Fun Farm Fam, Paws Love, and iHearU, demonstrating their compassion, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
Three Global Citizenship Prefects from Senior School conducted a comprehensive research project, unpacking how global citizenship competencies are embedded across the curriculum and providing insightful recommendations, reflecting our ongoing commitment to preparing students to Live Worldwise.
Learning Beyond the Classroom: Expanding Horizons
Whether through residentials, Dulwich International Model United Nations, parent partnership programmes, guest speakers, or field trips, our students explored the world around them and learned by doing. Our youngest learners at DUCKS benefit from outdoor learning, while Senior School students are provided with opportunities to apply what they learnt to solving real-world problems. These experiences deepen students’ understanding of the world and develop critical life skills like resilience, collaboration, and a sense of responsibility.

The Arts: A Flourishing Creative Culture
DCB’s arts programme has never been more dynamic. Over 600 students across the three Schools participated in our music programmes, concerts/recitals, and Worldwise events, while performances such as Moana Jr., PUFFS, and the Senior School pantomime showcased the talent and dedication of our young performers.
The Artist in Residence programme in Visual Arts provided further inspiration, nurturing artistic excellence across all year levels.
From concerts to gallery exhibitions, the arts at DCB continue to build confidence, empathy, and imagination—celebrated most vibrantly at our much-loved community event, Founder’s Day.

Sport: Excellence Through Teamwork
DCB athletes demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, skill, and teamwork this year. Despite weather-related disruptions, we celebrated 23 podium finishes and 11 tournament winners from Varsity to U12 competitions, a testament to the commitment of our students and coaches. Whether competing at the Varsity level or through inclusive participation, our students developed their physical skills and, more importantly, resilience, leadership, and teamwork.

As we close the year, we celebrate the collective achievements of our students, staff, and families. At Dulwich College Beijing, education is more than a pursuit of excellence—it is a journey that shapes confident, compassionate, and future-ready individuals.
We thank our community for a memorable year—and look ahead to the continued pursuit of excellence in 2025–26.
