DUCKS is truly special — a warm, caring community where children experience a childhood full of wonder and joy. Our engaging environment nurtures strong values, firm foundations, and positive relationships, supported by passionate educators and active parents.
- Tracey Francis, Head of the DUCKS

At DUCKS, we believe the early years should be filled with joy, curiosity, and confidence.

For children aged 3 to 7, our students experience a warm, dual-language environment where every child is known, supported, and inspired to explore the world around them. With a focus on a strong foundation for lifelong learning, our educators nurture your child’s creativity, independence, and sense of belonging helping them become global citizens.

Joyful and Engaging Learning

Through our Engaging Learning framework, your child will learn indoors and outdoors through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Our approach is rooted in helping children develop essential skills for life. Every moment is designed to support knowledge learning, language and communication skills, social and emotional growth and independence.

Young student learning with a teacher

We know every child and understand that they are unique through careful observation, assessment, and active listening. Our educators connect deeply with each learner. We build strong, responsive relationships with families that support wellbeing and foster a sense of security. Daily care routines and meaningful interactions engage, respond to, and nurture each child’s unique needs.

We build strong foundations for learning through play-based, inquiry-led experiences that foster independence, curiosity, and joy. Children develop key skills in language, literacy, numeracy, and physical development through personalised, child-initiated learning. At an early age, we nurture digital literacy,  leadership, global citizenship and a sense of awe and wonder about the world.  Our House System helps create a sense of belonging. Through DCB values and personalised social emotional care, we nurture a holistic learning environment.

We create inspiring indoor and outdoor spaces to encourage exploration and adventure, fostering independence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. Our indoor environments cultivate creativity through flexible multi-purpose spaces, the use of natural materials, and dedicated areas showcasing visible learning. Outdoors, children explore, take risks, and connect with nature through play, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and a love for the natural world.

We partner with parents

You are part of your child’s learning journey. We celebrate every family’s culture and context.  Volunteering, and supported learning at home are encouraged for a collaborative approach.  Through strong parent engagement and community building activities, parents remain involved in their child’s learning.
