DCB Class of 2022 achieve spectacular IB results!

Dulwich College Beijing is proud to commend the Class of 2022 students for their stellar International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB) results! This year, DCB students averaged an exceptional score of 39.3 points out of 45, significantly above the global average of 31.9. 55% students scored 40 points and above, including two students achieving a full score of 45 points. 64 students received the full IB Diploma, representing a 100% pass rate. Congratulations to the DCB Class of 2022 for their outstanding accomplishment!

“Our Class of 2022 reinforced our tradition of success across the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, with our students achieving these incredible results. Special mention goes to Yiming S and Chloe W for achieving perfect scores”, said Mr Anthony Coles, Head of College at Dulwich College Beijing. “I am immensely proud of the achievements of the Class of 2022 and also grateful for the excellent care and commitment of our teachers. The Class has endured many challenges and I commend our entire Class of 2022 for their diligence, dedication and contribution to Dulwich College Beijing. We know our newest International Old Alleynians are going to make a positive difference to people, society and the planet. I wish them all the best for the next chapter of their learning journey.”

The Class of 2022 have received outstanding offers from renowned universities around the world, including Imperial College London, London School of Economics and Political Science in the University of London, King’s College London, University of Edinburgh, Durham University, and University of Arts London in the United Kingdom; Duke University, New York University, University of California, Georgetown University, Northeastern University, University of Chicago, University of Pennsylvania, and George Washington University in the United States of America; University of Toronto, McGill University, McMaster University, and University of Waterloo in Canada; the University of Hong Kong in Asia. These stunning achievements are especially significant because these students have faced many challenges and interruptions over the past few years when the pandemic hit the world. The Head of Senior School, Ms Rachel Edwards commented on the students’ hard work and unwavering determination.
