The UK curriculum is contextualised and enhanced for our students, with a focus on developing transferable skills. We take seriously our role in ensuring that secondary school students further develop their approaches to learning which will support their development and study through the Senior School.
"Here in the Senior School at Dulwich College Beijing, we celebrate every student as they make the most of all that DCB offers while paving their own paths toward their future aspirations and their best fit universities. Our students’ individuality shines through in their stories of dedication, resilience, hard work, and courage – qualities that enrich our community every day. I’m constantly inspired by what they achieve, and I warmly invite families to come meet us and experience these stories firsthand. Come and visit our beautiful campus in person or, if you’re abroad, get to know our school better with our virtual tour. Our students and staff will be delighted to welcome you."

Dual Pathways of Personalised Learning
In Key Stage 5, students can choose the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or A Levels – two world-class qualifications that open doors to top universities around the globe.
Our students receive personalised support from highly experienced educators, pastoral leaders to ensure their wellbeing, and university counsellors who know them as individuals and help them find the best fit for their future. With teachers who stay at the forefront of educational practice through ongoing training, learning is dynamic, relevant, and inspiring.
Learning Beyond the Classroom is a cornerstone of our learning here in Senior School. Alongside academic excellence, students have countless opportunities to extend their learning, nurture leadership, and develop balance and a strong sense of community. Programmes such as Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) and a vibrant calendar of after-school activities and events bring colour, energy, and connection to Senior School life.
Whichever pathway they choose, every student is empowered to achieve their best and make a meaningful impact.
Supported by our IGCSE programme
In Years 10 and 11 (Key Stage 4), students engage with the IGCSE programme, developing the knowledge, discipline, and curiosity that prepare them for the challenges ahead.
At DCB, they have the opportunity to go even further through our bespoke STEM, FutureTech, and Creative Media courses designed by our own innovative educators that adapt the learning environment to best suit our students’ needs and help each one discover their passions and future pathways.

Student Leadership
At DCB, we recognise the importance of nurturing young people, instilling our core values, and giving them opportunities to grow beyond academics. With around 400 leadership roles in Senior School, you’ll find students leading assemblies, planning events, and sharing ideas that shape school life. Others might be rehearsing for a play, competing on the sports field, or collaborating on a design project after class. Some are discovering new interests; others are mastering ones they already love. This enrichment goes hand in hand with their studies and maintaining a positive work life balance.
Through these experiences, in classrooms, studios, and beyond, students grow in confidence, curiosity, and connection. They learn to balance challenge with creativity, teamwork with independence, and ambition with wellbeing, and in finding their voice and passion have the courage to become student leaders. Here at DCB, students discover that true leadership begins with being yourself.
Facilities
Our facilities were built with intention and with our students in mind and with input from our educators and community. Several locations around the Senior School community allow students to commune, work together or just relax in between classes. The College also provides numerous specialist classrooms where students can pursue their passion projects with age-appropriate, world-class equipment and facilities.
